Blogs

Everyday in class we hear and learn how blogs are becoming a big part of daily life. So much so that businesses need to step into the blogging world in order to remain competitive. I think i big sign of something becoming a part of main stream life is if you see it on tv. The other day I was watching a new episode of the show Scrubs, and they made several references to blogging in the show. Now while this is just a comedy show, the fact that they mention blogging means that blogging has become popular enough that the writers of the show feel that people will get a joke about blogging. I realized that blogging actually is becoming more and more present in daily life and that learning about blogs could help me with my future.

A lot of shows have started the mention of blogs in their scripts. Scrubs even has their own blog site! Not unlike Scrubs, The Today Show on NBC talks about blogging all of the time too on the show. The Today Show has just instituted a new blog called allDAY that they mention almost every morning during the program. Blogs are EVERYWHERE!

Good work, every show has started to create their own blogs so they can get feedback from the audience. Not only has it been from NBC, but almost every channel, from MTV as well as other primetime competitors like CBS and ABC!
